CEO, Executive Concepts
Both Lloyd G. LeCain and his wife are retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve, but still maintain a close connection to the organization’s many ideals and initiatives. As a resident of Lompoc, California, LeCain continues to conduct classes at the Naval Readiness Center in nearby Ventura County. The center recently dedicated a room in his name.
LeCain began his naval career in the 1970s while attending Texas A&M University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation, having served as a midshipman during his career. In the years following, LeCain would serve on a number of transport ships, as well as with the U.S. Navy Reserve.
In 1974, shortly after graduation, Lloyd G. LeCain first became a member of the United States Naval Institute. Throughout his years of participation, he ultimately earned the title of Commodore within the organization. LeCain believes strongly in the mission of the Naval Institute and that the organization enables the best naval officers to shine. At his own expense, Lloyd LeCain has purchased memberships and promotional materials to give to the top graduates of his Naval Readiness courses.
In addition to the Naval Institute, Lloyd G. LeCain belongs to a number of other organizations. He currently holds memberships in the Commodore’s Club, the Surface Navy Association, and the Association of Old Crows. As a former officer, he maintains affiliations with both the Military Officers Association of America and the Reserve Officers Association. LeCain recently served as the President of the Department of California branch of the Reserve Officers Association.
